I just wanted to post some information on the next set of classes coming up. We just started the first class a few weeks ago and I have to say it has been so much fun.
I am really excited about starting this new adventure. Photography has become my greatest passion over the last couple of years. What could be better then sharing my passion with each of you. There have been so many times in my life where I wish that I could freeze time. Whether it was a vacation that I was really enjoying, or the first time we brought Jackson home from the hospital. In a sense with my camera I am allowed to do just that. I can freeze a single moment in time. Wow, what a powerful concept that is!
There are many big events in our lives that we want to remember, like past Holidays or sending your first child off to kindergarten. But the in between moments are what makes our lives ours. Those moments are what I set out to capture. Those moments tell our story.
The next class will start Monday, May 7th. It will last 6 weeks. On every Monday you will receive a new lesson, followed with photo examples, and your weekly assignment. There will also be something that we call 'Weekly Inspiration' and you can also participate in that. It is where you submit a photo that you really like for that week. It goes into a gallery for all the other students to see. Your weekly assignment will also go in a gallery for others to see. We are also have a chat forum set up so that you can talk with the other students, share helpful information, and ask questions. The cost for this 6 week course is $155.00. I will send out paypal invoices April 25th. You will have until Monday, April 30th to make payment.
The Lesson Plans for each week are the following:
Lesson One: Reading your camera manual. Camera Modes, Adjusting your aperture, exposure.
