Just wanted to share some pictures of the kids playing in the snow last Sunday. This is the most amount of snow that we have received all winter. Around three inches. So as you can see they I mean we were super excited to be out in it! We spent most the day snowmobiling, sledding, throwing snow balls, and building a little snowman. It was fun just being together.

Back to reality this week though..Getting lots done, and feeling really good about it! I think I can wear my superwoman shirt today. Here is what I have accomplished so far today.

-uploaded more assignments

-answered all e-mails

-washed the kids bedding

-went through all of their clothes, purged all clothes with stains, holes etc. Bagged up a huge bag of clothes for Miss Makenzie that are now too small for Maddie.

-organized their shoes, and purged the ones that were too small.

-made a ‘to get’ list for the store

-gathered up ‘box tops’ for Drew to take to school

-made a list of things that the kids are in need of

-updated my blog

-now it’s time to take my shower and a nap

Have a great weekend everyone!! Tomorrow we are headed up to Indy to take Jackson to the Monster Truck Jam..We went last year and it was a lot of fun..He is really looking forward to it again this year, and we are bringing along Drew!

The following conversation took place earlier this afternoon..Jack & Maddie wrestling on the couch.. Jacks says..’Girls have germs’.. Immediately followed with a quick glance up at me ‘You don’t have germs though, mom...Yeah..because you drink orange juice’..Awesome dude, that is the reason why I drink that stuff! :)

More evidence that my little boy is changing before my very eyes...Now girls have germs..Oh goodness, Lord..help me..

‘These are the moments...’

I took this photo the very last day of December 2006..My husband was sitting
on the bed folding laundry for me, and Maddie climbed up there to help him. 
I ran and got my camera and took a few, and then headed back down the
hallway.  As I turned back around, I saw that she had laid down on his
chest, and he was stroking her hair..These are the moments that we set out
to capture..Those magical ones that only happen for a second..I am so
thankful that I had my camera and that I turned back around..

Time for some honesty..My husband is the best there is..but there are times
when I want to ring his neck, and there are plenty of times I am sure where
he would like to do the same! Just sayin’ :)  Last week I was feeling
extremely stressed out..a total grouchzilla!  I think I probably bit his
head off too many times to count and you know what..he never bit back..He
folded laundry, took care of the kids needs, got dinner prepared, and asked
me what he could do to make my life easier..He talked me down from when I
was ready to throw my laptop out the freakin’ window, and fixed what needed
to be fixed..He never raised his voice, or told me that I was crazy!

Being married, having a business, and children is all a balancing act...Yes,
there are times when I do an awesome job..I strip all the sheets off the
bed, change the sheets, wash/dry/fold/put away four loads of laundry, house
is spotless, kids are happy, all e-mails are caught up, bills have been paid
and so on..Then there are days that I do a crappy job..and crawl into my
shell, and don’t achieve anything but feeling sorry for myself. See, I told
you this was going to be honest!!  But you know what, it’s okay..It’s a part
of life..I am nothing special, I am who I am..There is no possible way to be
superwomen day in and day out..Would I like to be superwomen everyday?  OF
course..

Anyways, the whole point in this post was just to say..that I am so thankful
for my husband, really, I truly am..Thank you for being patient, and
understanding when I am unable to be! :)

Everything is going really good here at home.  Still working with Maddie on the whole potty training thing.  She does a real good job but you have to keep on her! :)  She is getting so big, and her vocabulary is growing every day.  So funny to hear her carry on conversations with her dolls.  I put on a puppet show for them the other evening, and now that is all they want me to do.  Our puppet is a dog named Jo-Jo.  Do you know of any places on-line that carry cool puppets?

Jackson is a little busy body.  He is always doing something.  Earlier today I heard him telling Maddie 'Stop being so bossy, you are not the MOTHER, you are the SISTER'...Kid cracks me up.

A question I posed to my husband the other evening 'Why do I never go to bed on the same day that I wake up on?' Haha..Off to bed!! :)

This past week and a half, has been a bit crazier then I had expected. Trying to find balance between my work life and family life is a constant struggle for me. I am sure I am like a lot of you in that aspect! :) Having my own buisness and being able to work at home is really great but I get snapped back into reality very quickly, when someone is in the bathroom and needs me to wipe their bootie! :)

I think I am finally caught up on returning e-mails! Yeahh!! E-mails are a lot like cleaning your house, if you don’t stay on top of them, they get out of control really quickly!! I have also been working a lot on getting my lesson plans together and having a blast doing it! I cannot wait to get started! Everyone’s enthusiasm has been awesome, totally inspiring. :)

I have received a couple of e-mails wondering when I would send an e-mail out to those of you in the January Class. That will be going out on Thursday, so be on the look out! :) A short and sweet post, promise to write more later!! Back to work for now!

Hi!!  I had a big long post typed out, but typepad ate it!  Maybe it was time for lunch!! :)  Time is of the essence right now, so I will just post a quick update, and promise to post more later this week!!
