I just wanted to drop in real quick and say thank you for all of your comments and e-mails, I appreciate all the suggestions and look forward to giving more details next week on the classes. :)

I have to say that each New Year that approaches is always just another day for me..Not something that I really look forward to. But this year there is just something different.  My husband and I are really looking forward to ‘07. There are so many things that we have been wanting to do, so many goals that we have been working towards in the last couple of years..and this is the year that we will be able to do those things, and to see those goals fulfilled! Very exciting!

I hope that everyone here has an amazing year, and that all of your wishes & dreams are fulfilled. Happy New Year!!! :)

Four posts in a row ladies, I’m on a roll!! Let’s see how long this will last for. ;) For Christmas my mother-in-law/father-in-law a.k.a Nana/Bull got the kids a couple of things to leave at their house so that when the kids come over, they have some new things to do. Well, one of the things that they got for Maddie was the movie Bambi, she just could not seem to let that movie go, and it eventually came home with us. And instead of calling him ‘Bambi’ she calls him ‘Band-aid’. It is just about the cutest thing! So last night when she asked to watch ‘Band-aid’ for the tenth time that day, I decided to sneak out my camera and snap a few photos..I love that I am able to freeze time with my camera, and that eventually my photos will be able to re-tell the story of their childhood to them. :)

I will have more on classes coming some time next week! And my cards should be coming to your mailbox sometime next week as well! With a million and one candy canes lying around, I was bound to wake up one morning and find them devouring them for breakfast..Today was the day! :)

We had an amazing Christmas this year..I hope that you all did as well! Right now it is 2:41 p.m., we are still in our pj's and I am asking myself "where are we gonna put all this stuff?" :)  Have a great day everyone!! :)

A very random post..with a random photo, and some random thoughts is ahead... :)

It is so hard to believe that this year is already coming to an end..Christmas is just a few short days a way!  It looks like my Christmas cards are going to be turning into New Year cards..haha  I have been taking care of a very sick husband this week and trying to manage everything else in the house hold, so the cards have been put on the back burner.  I am hoping to work on them tomorrow, but most likely will not be mailed until next week.

In the mean time, here is a photo that I took this summer,  I came across it tonight when I was cleaning out files..How cool is this guy?!

I have been thinking about doing some kind of on-line chat/mentor/class thing.  It is something that I have been mulling around in my head as of lately.  I get lots of e-mails, with lots of questions each and every day and I love to help everyone and try to answer as much as I can but the whole e-mail thing can sometimes turn into a part-time job on it's own!  I am thinking about doing a six week class, where each week there is a discussion, an assignment, and where we can chat for an hour or more with questions/problems.  There would be a fee...not something that is crazy expensive but reasonable and in everyone's budget.  I would love to hear your feedback, and if you are interested in something like this.  I would have to limit how many people I take on. I am thinking right now 3 or 4 people for each 6 week course.

I thought today that I would share some of our decorations for the holidays. I love decorating and design..I think it is my second passion, the first being photography of course. ;) The lighting is not the best, I was walking around taking these lastnight at ten o'clock..hehe..But I love at Christmas time how you don't need to use any of your other lights, all you need is to plug in your tree and everything else and you get this warm, cozy glow..

{1} Our mantel..I took an old chalk board, and spray painted it black. I then attached the wreath, added lights, glitter balls, and then I took my circle punch and punched out patterned cardstock and attached the circles to fill in blank spaces. The word 'wish' are wooden letters from Michael’s that I painted with red glitter paint. I then cut out patterned paper to fit inside of the frames (with the glass removed) for my mat, and then glued the letters down.

{2} This sled sits on top of our t.v. armoire. I just added some greenery, some red berries, and then again used my circle punch to add in some coordinating patterned paper.

{3} This is what we call 'the kid's tree'..It sits in the living room, by the armoire. We decorated it with mini size photos of the kids. I punched holes in the corner of the photos, and then used ribbon to attach them to the tree. Again I used my circle punch to add in the patterned paper circles.

My favorite part is how the patterned circles tie all the decorations together, we even put them on our big tree. A very in-expensive thing, but it adds such fun and whimsy! I would love to see what you guys have done, link me up!! :) Happy Thursday!

This week there are lots of things that need to be done, but aren’t getting done!! Isn’t that the norm for most busy families? So far this week we have managed to have one sick child. That would be Jacks..He has a really sore throat and just hasn’t been feeling the greatest..I have to admit though, that I have really enjoyed him wanting to snuggle with me..asking me to rub his neck, or to help him get a drink. He has become so independent this year, which is a good thing, but I do miss him needing me so much. With Jacks being sick, I let him stay in our bed..Well that may have been a mistake because this morning when I woke up, yes you guessed it, I am now not feeling well.

Lots of stuff left on the to do list for this week..more shopping to do, all of the gifts need wrapped (I have not wrapped a single one), need to put in one last photo order (thank goodness, I love my job but  it gets stressful this time of year) and YES folks I need to do my cards still!! Haha..Some of you may not be receiving yours until after Christmas!! Normally I would be a little stressed out about that, but you know what I am okay with it..The signs of getting older..letting things just roll off your back!! My mom told me if would happen soon! I hope you guys have a good productive week!! And please wish me the same, I am gonna need it!

Hi!! Lots of things to be happy about this week...

1. Our good friends Kim & Jeremy delivered a healthy set of twin boys Monday afternoon. Cole was 5 lbs 5 oz. & Trace was 2 lbs 11 oz. They are now home safe and sound. :)

2. I had said that my cut-off date for ordering Christmas pictures was December 1^st, it is December 8^th and I am still ordering for clients! But it has all ran smoothly, and I love FedEx! :)

3. 17 days until Christmas, and NOI am not done shopping yet..and YES I am okay with that! :)

4. We attended Drew’s Christmas program at school last night..Can you say stinkin’ adorable..He was so funny, a little un-sure of himself, looking around to see what the other kids were doing...but he did awesome..Jackson can hardly wait until it is his turn next year! :)

5. I loved hearing all that you guys do to give back! That is just awesome! Thank you so much for sharing with me, and giving me some more ideas! :)

6. A busy weekend ahead, there won’t be much lounging around...We have Christmas Dinner with my mom’s side of the family Saturday evening, need to do some shopping, and need to work on some things for the business for next year.. :)

7. Speaking of the business, I am so, so happy that I am doing something that I love. I still to this day am amazed that I have been able to follow my dreams. Things are looking even bigger for 2007, and I can hardly wait to see where it takes me. :)

8. Do you guys have video cameras? Being at the Christmas program last night, put the bug in my husbands ear that we need a video camera...Do you have any recommendations? I am so lost when it comes to video stuff.. :)
